Pease Park Conservancy is excited to partner with Highway Lights for a Soundbath at Pease Park! This event is free and open to the public.
What to Expect:
Immerse yourself in the natural sounds of the park, accompanied by the compositions created by Justin Sherburn and Sara Nelson of Highway Lights. This Texan ambient group features sweeping cello solos and immersive sound design - a perfect accompaniment for meditation, yoga, visual art, or any mindful listening environment.
This listening experience will take place under the sycamore trees on the south lawn of Kingsbury Commons, just next to the Picnic Table and playground area.
About Highway Lights:
After a decade of touring with indie rock band Okkervil River, pianist Justin Sherburn joined forces with cellist Sara Nelson to form the ambient modern classical group Montopolis. To learn more about their music, inspiration, and upcoming performances click here.
