Join Pease Park Conservancy for a guided walk through Kingsbury Commons and learn about the forest ecosystem in the area.
During this walk, you can expect to learn about the unique geology of the land, the kinds of species found in this habitat type, the challenges these habitats might face, and more. We will meet at the front end of Kingsbury Commons, to the right of the Picnic Table area, and make our way throughout the park.
Please note: This tour will require a walk of about a half mile and some of this will be on uneven terrain.
Thank you to H-E-B for supporting all of our educational programming events!

Cultural engagement through
public art, performance, music, and film
Pease Park Conservancy is excited to partner with J Wagner for a Waltz lesson and dance party at the Tudor Cottage and Terrace at Pease Park! This event is free and open to the public.
Pease Park Conservancy is excited to partner with Highway Lights for a Soundbath in the Treehouse at Pease Park! This event is free and open to the public.
This listening experience will take place under the sycamore trees on the south lawn of Kingsbury Commons, just next to the Picnic Table and playground area.
PPC is excited to partner with the Violet Crown Players’ Diverse Space Youth Dance Company for an outdoor installment of their movement-based performance Confluence!
This performance is a FREE-for-all all opportunity to support local art and youth dance initiatives. Since this is a moving performance, we will begin at the ring of Sycamore trees next to the Picnic Tables and make our way to the Tudor Cottage and Terrace, the Amphitheater, the Great Lawn, and trails on the Kingsbury hillside.
