Pease Park Conservancy is excited to partner with J Wagner for a country waltz class and dance party on Valentine’s Day! This event will take place at the Tudor Cottage and Terrace at Pease Park and is free and open to the public.
The site of today's Pease District Park was part of the 365-acre Woodlawn homestead owned by former Texas Governor E. M. Pease and his wife, Lucadia. Although Governor Pease supported the Union during the Civil War, research has found that at least 37 individuals were directly enslaved or leased as enslaved labor by the Pease family. This tour recognizes and shares some of the stories of a few of these people.

Yoga for Pease is a community-centered wellness event inspired by the spirit of Austin’s former Whole Lotta Yoga, with a renewed focus on accessibility, collaboration, and giving back to one of the city’s most cherished public spaces. The event will bring together community members for an afternoon of movement, connection, and collective impact.
MASS Gallery and Pease Park Conservancy are partnering for an ambient music night in the Treehouse!
MASS Ambient is a communal ambient music night centered around deep listening and relaxing. Come experience a beautiful tapestry of sound, color, and light brought to you by local artists and musicians. MASS Gallery is thrilled to work in collaboration with Pease Park Conservancy to activate the Treehouse for the ultimate listening experience. Come float with us, and bring your own blanket and pillow!

War in Pease 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament is an annual basketball tournament in honor of Pat Lochridge.
Each team consists of 3-5 players and the registration fee is $60 per team. Participants will compete for the winning title as well as best team spirit and best team name awards.

PPC is excited to partner with the Violet Crown Players’ Diverse Space Youth Dance Company for an outdoor installment of their movement-based performance Confluence!
This performance is a FREE-for-all all opportunity to support local art and youth dance initiatives. Since this is a moving performance, we will begin at the ring of Sycamore trees next to the Picnic Tables and make our way to the Tudor Cottage and Terrace, the Amphitheater, the Great Lawn, and trails on the Kingsbury hillside.

Wrap up Pride Month at Pride Picnic in Pease Park! Pease Park Conservancy and Future Front Texas come together once again to bring you a market of 30+ local vendors, fun activities for all ages, and the opportunity to picnic on the great lawn with a loving and welcoming community!
In honor of Martin Luther King Day, Pease Park Conservancy is hosting a donation drive for the Austin community! Stop by to drop off non-perishable food items as well as diapers and period products. Donations will be delivered to the Micah 6 food pantry and the Austin Diaper Bank.

Travis Audubon and the Pease Park Conservancy are collaborating to offer a guided family-friendly walk designed with birding adults in mind—parents, grandparents, or caregivers—who want to enjoy birding without needing to leave the kids at home. While most bird walks require a quieter setting, this outing makes space for families to participate together. Following the walk, we’ll create our own birds using crafting materials at the Tudor Cottage!
